COOKIE & LOCAL STORAGE POLICY · LAST UPDATED 20 SEPTEMBER 2026

Essential storage first. Optional analytics only by choice.

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used by trigner.com. The current build relies mainly on local storage rather than traditional tracking cookies.

2. Your choice

Essential storage is used where needed to provide browser-local workspace, recovery and user-requested features. Optional product analytics remains disabled until you actively choose “Allow optional local analytics.” “Reject optional” is available at the same level. You can change your choice at any time using the Privacy settings button shown on the site.

3. Current cookie

NameTypePurposeDuration
trigner_consent_v1First-party technical preferenceRemembers whether optional local analytics is granted or denied.Up to 180 days

This preference cookie is used to remember your privacy choice. Clearing browser cookies removes the choice and the banner will be shown again.

4. Current local storage

Key/domainCategoryPurposeRetention
trigner:v1:workspaceEssential functionalityKeeps the founder workspace on this browser.Until you erase/replace it or clear site storage.
trigner:v1:workspace-backupEssential recoveryMaintains a previous known-good local workspace before meaningful overwrite.Until replaced, erased or site storage is cleared.
trigner:v1:feedbackUser-requestedSaves founding feedback only when you deliberately press Save feedback.Until erased or site storage is cleared.
trigner:v1:startupsCompatibilitySupports bounded legacy local startup records if they exist.Until erased/migrated or site storage is cleared.
trigner:v1:product-eventsOptional analyticsStores bounded allowlisted product-usage events locally. Founder-authored startup/customer/evidence text is excluded.Only after opt-in; up to 250 events, until withdrawal/erase/clear.

5. No advertising or third-party analytics cookies in this build

The current application code does not include advertising networks, behavioral advertising cookies, Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics scripts. If that changes, Trigner will update this policy and request consent before non-essential technologies are activated where required.

6. Withdrawing permission

Open Privacy settings and choose “Reject optional.” Trigner will stop writing optional product telemetry and will clear locally stored product telemetry from this browser. Essential workspace/recovery storage is unaffected because it supports the product functionality you request.

7. Browser controls

You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Doing so may erase the local Trigner workspace and recovery copy. Export important workspace data from the Vault before clearing browser storage.

8. Changes

We will update this policy when storage technologies, purposes or providers change. Material additions of non-essential storage will not be enabled for existing users without the legally required choice.
